We have been taking Mauley to Sprockett's since last winter, when cabin fever was setting in. She loves going to "daycare" and we immediately knew this was the place for her. Her endless energy is spent here on days when we are all busy working or in school, and she comes home a very tired and content dog. The people at Sprockett's are the best and the grooming available during the day makes it a one stop shop. Sprockett's has also made the loss of our senior girl Ginger more bearable for Mauley

Canine Sport Detection is based on scent detection used by police and military to find narcotics and explosives. For our classes we will be using legal scents for obvious reasons. In the six week sessions your dog will learn to search for and indicate precise location of a scent. All dogs are welcome from purebred to mixed breeds, young and old. Any dog can do it!

We offer classes at various levels based on the The Sporting Detection Dogs Association (SDDA) competition levels.

All new clients will be placed in a group based on their level of experience and/or competition level, if applicable. Clients who have never done scent detection with their dogs will be introduced to the sport of Scent Detection and begin the process of introducing a scent (Wintergreen) to their dog.

Returning clients of dogs that have already been started on a scent will be placed in appropriate groups to develop and practice effective and reliable scent detection. Additional scents (Pine and Thyme) will be added as confidence grows.
