Cost: $30 for 30minute training session on top of either a half day or full day of daycare
Sprockett’s is pleased to start offering Daycare and Train sessions to assist you in your busy or challenging schedule with teaching manners to your pup.
We will focus on the behavior you are wanting your pup/dog to learn during this session. Some, but not all, behavior we can work on sit, down, stay, wait, no jumping, food/toy possessiveness, puppy biting, loose leash walking, leave it, drop it, etc.
Your dog will come for daycare with us for either a half day or full day of daycare and during their time with us, we will have one of our trainers work one on one with them. Our trainers will provide an update to you at the end of each session on what was worked on, how they did, what you can do at home to get this behavior, how often they should come to continue to progress confidently, etc. There will also be periodic meetings in person to demonstrate the work that is being done to help you get the best results for when you are at home.
This method of training is ideal for those clients who don’t have the time or experience to have their dog trained while at the same time not wanting to send them away longer term to a trainer.
Available Monday-Friday by appointment.
Contact Jessica at 204-233-7332 or email Daycare Training Program to see if this would be a good fit for you and your dog.

Canine Sport Detection is based on scent detection used by police and military to find narcotics and explosives. For our classes we will be using legal scents for obvious reasons. In the six week sessions your dog will learn to search for and indicate precise location of a scent. All dogs are welcome from purebred to mixed breeds, young and old. Any dog can do it!
We offer classes at various levels based on the The Sporting Detection Dogs Association (SDDA) competition levels.
All new clients will be placed in a group based on their level of experience and/or competition level, if applicable. Clients who have never done scent detection with their dogs will be introduced to the sport of Scent Detection and begin the process of introducing a scent (Wintergreen) to their dog.
Returning clients of dogs that have already been started on a scent will be placed in appropriate groups to develop and practice effective and reliable scent detection. Additional scents (Pine and Thyme) will be added as confidence grows.
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations before entering our facility. We also highly recommend the Bordetella vaccine (Kennel cough) as well, please discuss with your vet.
